Wednesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Class
What a day! We started by writing and talking about how we would make lemonade. We used transition words to show sequence. Then, we practiced words with -ar, -arm and -ark. The students have one page of spelling homework. Then, we re-read our story Lemonade for Sale in groups and completed a scavenger hunt. After gym and music, we completed centers/guided reading. This afternoon we got into our vocabulary groups and completed activities to reinforce the meanings of those words. In math, we continued to use money and add dollars and coins. Some students have math homework. In science, we took notes on different animal groups and identified some animals in their classifications, too. In Social Studies, we worked on our Landform Models with our groups. Overall, they are looking good!
