Monday in Mrs. Bognetti's Class
We accomplished a lot today. This morning we learned about words with -oo that sound like moo. We analyzing a poem containing these words and introduced spelling words with the same pattern. Then, we corrected two sentences of DLP, talked about research reports, and learned that holidays are proper nouns (therefore they are capitalized!). We went to art class. This afternoon, we learned about line plots in math. Some students have math homework. In Social Studies, we dismantled our landform models (rubric showing grades sent home today), read a Time for Kids magazine containing the Statue of Liberty, and completed our Daily Geography Practice. It was a good day!
