March 21st

This morning we wrote about what we would do if we were in a band.  It was quite fun!  Then, we practiced breaking words into syllables.  We talked about words that have multiple-meanings.  We also wrote some acrostic poems and completed our DLP.  We read with our Book Buddies, too.  Then, we had centers/guided reading.  We took our Science test.  This afternoon we read more of Poppy Pendle.  Then, we presented the last of the President Projects.  We also learned the cursive c and q.  We practiced a fire drill and discussed the importance of our safety in an emergency situation.  At the end of the day, we reviewed how to tell time.  Tomorrow we will have a math and reading test.
