Thursday in Mrs.Bognetti's Room

We started our day finishing up our “Theme 2” test. We had a bus evacuation drill today. The students were very well behaved on the bus. In Literacy, we reviewed our vocabulary and our word wall words. We completed a spelling practice sheet. We also made a list of –air and –are words. We got through two centers today. We had book buddies with the fourth graders. After lunch, the students read Harry Potter. In Math, we looked at different combinations we could make using three different number. Both classes have homework. We will have our chapter 27 Math test tomorrow. We will also have our Reading test on Abuela. In Science, we continued to discuss erosion. The students made a chart about the various things that cause rocks to break apart. The students ended their day with Music.
