DINOSAUR DIORAMAS AND PARAGRAPHS ARE DUE TOMORROW! Please have your child practice reading his/her report. Some children will get to present tomorrow, while others will have to wait for Science time on another day.
This morning we reviewed abbreviations. We completed a spelling worksheet in class. We learned our vocabulary words for the week, used a Power Point for practice with the words, and completed a workbook page. We talked about how to make predictions. Then, we read our story Mr. Putter and Tabby Fly the Plane. We completed our DLP and a workbook page on plural nouns. We completed two centers today as well. The children went to gym and LRC. This afternoon, we learned about half-dollars and quarters. We practiced adding sets of coins. Both classes have math homework. In Social Studies, we finished our Landform Models. They will be displayed for you at conference time. The students also had a chance to read a Time for Kids magazine.
