Monday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room
Today we talked about words with -gh and -ph that sound like (f). We completed a workbook page in class and then introduced the spelling words, having the same pattern. We added words to our word wall, too. Then, we completed our DLP and completed two guided reading groups/centers. In Science, we learned about food webs and necessities animals must have in order to survive. We watched a short video clip as well. The students have a lesson outline to complete for homework. Every child should have brought his/her science book home. After we read Harry Potter, we learned how to subtract hundreds in math. Mrs. Bognetti's class has homework and some students in Mrs. Walter's class have some, too. In Social Studies, we practiced sequencing, putting things in order. Then, we started reading about Native Americans. At the end of the day, the students went to gym class.
