Thank you to all who attended Celebration of Learning Night! I am so glad that you had the opportunity to come and see all the wonderful things we've been working on here at Wesley School! Your children were so proud to show you everything!
This morning we started our day off with math. We began learning about fractions in math today. We learned that they are parts of a whole. Most students finished their work in class. Then, we reviewed words with re- and pre-. We completed our DLP and a grammar worksheet, too. After, we took our Reading test and learned the cursive letter "N". This afternoon, we read more of Holes. We learned about explorers in Social Studies. We talked about Christopher Columbus, settlers at Jamestown, and the Pilgrims. We also took notes. Then, we learned the cursive letters "H" and "M". We ran out of time to take our spelling test...so sorry! At the end of the day we had Celebration Day.
