Tuesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room
We began the day by writing in our journals. The topic was, "When I go on a field trip, I should act..." We discussed acting responsibly and safe while on a field trip. We also reviewed -ou and -ow words that make the "ow," sound. In grammar we continued talking about pronouns. We read our new story titled, "Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash." It is a fun story that makes us laugh. After lunch we did Centers. In math, we are measuring using centimeters and meters. Students in both Mrs. Bognetti's and Mrs. Walter's classes have math homework. We ended the day with Social Studies and talking about U.S. symbols. The students did an art project where they recreated a U.S. symbol of Uncle Sam, a bald eagle, or the Liberty Bell.
