Wednesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room
Today we started by writing in our journals about animals that we see in the zoo. Then we reviewed words that make the -oo sound with -ue or -oo. We introduced our vocabulary words and reread our story. Our special today was music. In math, we learned about 3-dimensional solids. Students in Mrs. Bognetti's class have math homework and students in Mrs. Walter's math class also have math homework. After lunch, we did our centers and then Mrs. Barrett read Harry Potter to the class. In Social Studies, we worked in our groups to begin drawing our Washington, D. C. monuments. They are off to a great start! In Science, we reviewed for our Chapter 10 Science test. Students had the option to bring their books home tonight if they wanted to study; but, I will also be sending them home tomorrow night to prepare for the test on Friday. At the end of the day, we learned the cursive letter, "k."
