Monday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room
We started off today by writing in our journals. The topic was, "If I were a detective, I would..." There were many creative entries about the types of mysteries they would solve and what they would wear. We also discussed the prefixes, re- and pre-. We introduced our new spelling words and discussed action verbs. We also started our theme test and did our centers. In Science, we discussed a plant's life cycle. There is a Science worksheet for homework. After lunch, Mrs. Bognetti read to the class. In math, we discussed place value to the thousands. Students in Mrs. Bognetti's math class do not have homework. Some students in Mrs. Walter's math class have homework. In Social Studies, we continued working on our Washington, D.C. projects. Our Special today was gym, at the end of the day.
