Tuesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room
We started off today by writing in our journals. Our topic was, "If I lived in Antarctica..." The journal topic goes along with the story we are reading this week, The Emperor's Egg. We also discussed our suffixes, -ing and -ly and introduced our vocabulary words for today. This week's Spelling and Vocabulary lists were sent home today. Our specials today were gym and computer lab. After lunch, we did out Centers. In math, we learned how to find the perimeter of a shape. Students in Mrs. Walter's math class do not have homework. Students in Mrs. Barrett's math class do have homework. We ended the day with Social Studies by working on our Washington, D.C. projects. Most groups have reached the coloring stage of their monuments and they are looking great!
