Friday in Mrs. Walter's Room

Today we started by finishing our water cycle pictures. The words in the water cycle are very challenging so we need to keep working at them. Then we read through The Mixed Up Chameleon one more time. We reviewed the events in the story as well as the vocabulary words. Then we took our spelling test. The students then went to music class. After music class they took their reading test. In the afternoon we worked on some math sheets. We talked more about the water cycle in science class. We went outside for a short extra recess today. We were fortunate because Mrs. Cook was outside with her students with her caterpillars. One of them was coming out of it's chrysallis. That was exciting to see. We ended our day by going to gym.
