Tuesday in Mrs. Walter's Room
Today we worked some more in our journals. We are writing in our journals this week about friends. After that we worked on our spelling words. We cut the letters apart yesterday that we can use to spell our spelling words. We have been using those to work on our spelling words. We did some worksheets to practice our spelling words too. Then we made a graph of words that end in -ed. We read our new story Henry and Mudge Under the Moon. We will have a test on Friday about this story. We went to the computer lab this morning. This afternoon we worked on making a paragraph. Today we picked out a topic, and listed important parts of that topic. Tomorrow we will start writing senteces for our paragraph. We used connecting cubes to work on subtraction. Then we talked about erosion in science some more. We outlined the chapter about erosion. The students enjoyed this topic a lot. We ended our day by talking about communities in social studies. What a busy day.
