This morning we wrote about our plans for this weekend. It sounds like we've got lots of fun things to do! We started by adding another poem in our poetry binders. Then, we reviewed words with a y that needs to be changed to an i before adding -ed. We completed our DLP and worked hard on naming subjects and predicates of sentences. We took our Spelling test. For Celebration Day, we watched a Magic School Bus video about volcanoes that are formed underwater. The children really enjoyed it. Then, we had centers/guided reading. After, we took our Reading test. This afternoon we read more of Frindle. After gym and music, we did some problem solving in math and made equal groups. Both classes have math homework. At the end of the day, we took a timed test.
