Wednesday, September 26th

We wrote about volcanoes, landslides and earthquakes in our journals today.  Then, we shared.  We read our story Wilson Sat Alone as a class and discussed how Wilson felt.  Students have to finish the scavenger hunt that goes with our story for homework tonight.  Then, we went to the library.  We had centers/guided reading today.  In Social Studies, we learned about our state motto, state bird and we colored our state flag.  This afternoon we reviewed for our Science test.  We even erupted a volcano!  Every child has a review vocabulary packet that we completed in class today to help him/her study tonight.  There is a test tomorrow!!!  In math, we worked again with skip-counting.  Some students saw the connection between skip-counting and multiplication.  There is one page of math homework for all.
