Tuesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room

This morning we had to squeeze a lot in! Not only did we have two specials, but we also had an assembly! The 5th graders practiced their musical in front of the whole school and the children loved it! Today we talked about mail carriers and the job they do. We practiced contractions (students have one page of spelling homework) and introduced our vocabulary words. We completed an activitiy together using those words, as well. We read our story for the week, Good-bye, Curtis. We talked about subject/verb agreement. The students have a workbook page to finish for homework (one side only). This afternoon, we learned about comparing numbers on a number line. We also talked about numbers that come before, after, and in between. The students do have math homework. In Social Studies, we worked EXTREMELY hard to finish our projects! They are drawn, written, typed and ready to be presented tomorrow! We are very proud of all the students for doing a fantastic job! I look forward to seeing the finished dioramas after Spring Break! Have fun working on them at home!
