Wednesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room

We started off today by writing in our journals. The topic today was, "When I go to the park, I like to..." We also reviewed the prefixes re- and pre-. Then, we practiced our Spelling and vocabulary words. There is a vocabulary worksheet for homework. We did out centers today and our special was gym. After gym, we had Social Studies. Almost all the groups have completed their monument poster and are researching information about it! After lunch, Mrs. Bognetti read Harry Potter. In math we discussed extended form of numbers. Students in Mrs. Bognetti's math class do not have homework. Students in Mrs. Walter's math class do have homework. In Science, we did an Explore activity and investigated the insides of apples and bananas! We discovered that they both have seeds inside and that the fruit protects the seeds. There are two Science worksheets for homework tonight.

Don't forget to wear green tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day!

Also, we are out of kleenex and empty cereal boxes. If you have either of these things available, please send them with your child. Thank you!
