We had another very busy day today! In Literacy, we reviewed our controlled vowels and our spelling words. We re-read Abuela in small groups and the students did a scavenger hunt. Some students did not finish the scavenger hunt in class, so I assigned it as homework. We were scheduled to have an assembly today, but it has been re-scheduled for sometime in the future. We got through two centers today. In Social Studies, we finally finished our Washington D.C posters. The groups will be finishing up their paragraphs and presenting next week. They all worked very hard and the posters look great! After lunch, the students had some time to read silently. In Math, we continued learning about probability and predictions. Both classes have homework. In Science, we did an experiment about erosion. The students always enjoy doing the experiments! There is Science homework tonight. Tomorrow we will have a bus evacuation drill at 9:30.
