March 12th

This morning we worked a lot with contractions. Then, we talked about how to compare and contrast elements of a story.  We introduced the vocabulary words for Good-Bye, Curtis.  Then, we read the story.  We completed our DLP and a workbook page on subject/verb agreement.  We also went to art class.  This afternoon we silent read.  Then, we went to gym/music.  In math we learned how to tell time to the half hour.  Most students have homework.  Some have a packet and the workbook page.  I sent home a two-sided spelling worksheet.  This is due on Thursday as usual.
