This morning we chose our own topic to write about in our journals. Then, we read our poem of the week. We chose a St. Patrick's Day themed poem in honor of the holiday this weekend. Then, we had math. We learned how to tell time to the quarter hour. Please practice telling time with your child at home. We made practice clocks for you to use. Use the words "quarter after" and "quarter to" with your child as well. Most students do have homework. Then, we completed our DLP and did a worksheet on verbs. We took our Reading test. We were also able to present a few more President Projects. They are looking great. This afternoon we read more of Poppy Pendle. Then we went to gym and music. We had an assembly to go over our PBIS rules at Wesley and went over the classroom statuses for this trimester. Our class needs to work hard to earn some Shout Outs! At the end of the day, we had "Celebration Day". We worked on a packet of St. Patrick's themed activities. Have a wonderful weekend!
