This morning we wrote about places we'd visit in Washington, D.C. Then, we clapped out words in syllables. We talked about narrative elements (characters, setting, problem and solution). We completed our DLP and an activity on comparing words. Then, we acted out the play The Pine Park Mystery. We completed our Theme 1 test, too. Then, we read with our Book Buddies. This afternoon, we took an AIMS-WEB math test and a timed test, too. We drew pictures of the Arctic habitat and watched a video clip on it as well. At the end of the day, we worked on our Washington, D.C. projects. They are starting to come to life!
Reading and Spelling tests will take place tomorrow!
