Monday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room

This morning after art and gym, we re-read the story The Secret Life of Trees in small groups. We worked on a scavenger hunt (search for vocabulary words, etc.) in class, but some students need to finish it for homework. We also completed three centers today. This afternoon, we reviewed for and took our Math Test. We will begin actually adding two-digit plus two-digit numbers tomorrow. There is no math homework today. In Social Studies, we read about and discussed the concept of conservation. We made a vocabulary card for the word and began a worksheet that needs to be completed for homework tonight. In your child's mailbox today is a small sheet that will tell you the pages to study for the Social Studies test on Wednesday. They are also bringing home the landform booklets they made and vocabulary cards to study from. Please help your child do his/her best!
