Thursday in Mrs.Bognetti's Room

This morning we wrote poems about snow, due to the immense amount that is falling from the sky!!! After, we broke words up into syllables, based on a consonant -le pattern. The students began working on, but need to finish for homework, a spelling worksheet. We discussed the difference between facts and fiction. We finished reading The Secret Life of Trees. The students worked on their packets again with a partner. We completed our DLP and a grammar worksheet. We also finished two centers today and then had Book Buddies. This afternoon, we renamed numbers up to 4 different ways. The students have one page of math homework. In Science, we re-read our lesson on matter and its properties. We completed one worksheet together in class, and the students have another for homework. At the end of the day, we went to Music class.
