We had a flip schedule today so we had our specials that we normally have on Monday, today. So, we had music right away followed by P.E. When we got back we corrected some sentences in our D.L.P. and wrote in our science journal. Students made a list of chemical and physical changes and then we discussed the lists together. We then talked about summarizing and completed a beginning, middle, and end outline for 'Pumpkin Fiesta'. We then worked on our rough drafts for a bit before having centers. We completed 2 centers before lunch. After lunch we finished our last center and then went to math. We reviewed for our chapter 13 test and then took it. The students did AWESOME! We're ready to move onto subtraction now! After math we had science. We reviewed for the test together and then began a science vocabulary help sheet. We ran out of time unfortunately, so I told the students they can finish it at home to help them study. Our day ended with Media Center.
The homework for tonight is to study for the science test, finish your rough draft (those that finished are keeping their drafts at school), get the Social Studies test signed, and read Pumpkin Fiesta.
***I will not be here tomorrow to remind the students to wear baseball gear on Friday so please mark it on your calendars! There will also be no blog tomorrow. See you Friday!
