Wednesday in Mrs. Bognetti's Class

This morning each student made a list of all the liquids he/she could think of and shared them with the class. We had some very creative answers! Then, we completed and corrected our Secret Life of Trees packet to use as a review tonight for the test tomorrow. Look for it in your student's folder. Remember that tomorrow we will have both the reading and spelling tests. After, we put together a snowman and decorated them in unique ways. Tomorrow, we will write about the snowman using details. We completed one center today. We watched a video on solids, liquids, and gases. Then, we read the lesson and performed the explore activity for today. We used a balance scale to tell which object had more mass. The students have one page of science homework to complete tonight. In math today, we added using one of two strategies: Counting On, or Using a Hundreds Chart. The students have one page of math homework. Before the end of the day, we took our Social Studies tests. Students had a hard time on the cause and effect section.
