Our day started correcting our D.L.P. and writing in our January journals. We used the word wall words in sentences to make a paragraph. After sharing we read a story and then partnered up to complete some word wall and vocabulary work. We then learned the cursive letter, h. After that we completed 3 centers. Our morning ended reviewing pronouns and watching a movie about earning and spending. After lunch we silent read and then had math. We took the entire time to continue practicing subtraction problems. Please continue working at home and going over the homework with your child. We then moved onto science. We completed a heat web and moved on to learn about the second type of energy; light. We read and discussed a couple pages in our science book. Our day ended with P.E.
The homework for tonight is to study/complete the spelling packet, read "Jimmy's Boa"/study, and finish math 15-6.
