Thursday in Mrs.Bognetti's Room

This morning we made a list of colorful words to describe the snowman we made yesterday. Then, the students chose a topic sentence and made a four-square about their snowmen. After I corrected grammatical and spelling errors, the students wrote their ideas into a paragraph. They are looking great! We took our reading and spelling tests today. We also had Book Buddies with the 4th graders. This afternoon we learned how to add without using blocks/cubes. The children were quite excited and worked hard! We do have one page of math homework to complete. In Science, we re-read the lesson on solids, liquids, and gases with partners and then started a worksheet. The students need to complete it for homework. At the end of the day, we went to Music.
