Monday in Mrs. Bognetti's Room

This morning we went to gym and music. Then, we learned about the prefixes re- and pre-. We completed a workbook page and introduced spelling words with the same pattern. We completed our DLP and talked about verbs (action words). We completed two centers this morning. After lunch, we read some more of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Then, in math we started a new unit on Place Value to the Thousands. We watched a BrainPop video clip that explained place value as well. After we completed our workbook pages together, we began working on our homework that needs to be finished for tomorrow. We went to the computer lab this afternoon. Then, in Social Studies, we learned about how to read a table. We completed our worksheet in class. The students then read about the federal government in partners.
